Abdelbaki is an Egyptian researcher. He obtained his BSc in Agricultural Engineering from Kafrelsheikh University (in EGYPT) in 2010. Soon after graduation, he joined the master course in Agricultural Engineering (Irrigation Science) in Mansura University (in EGYPT) where he obtained his MSc in 2013. For several years, he was involved in a research collaboration project managed by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), National Water Research Center (NWRC), Agriculture Research Center (ARC) and Cairo University. He continued to study his PhD in Mansura University; after a year he could get a scholarship supported by the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT). He started his PhD in JAPAN in 2014 where he graduated in Global Arid Land Sciences (Irrigation Science) from Tottori University in 2018. He works for the General Authority of Agrarian Reform, Ministry of Agriculture, EGYPT since 2014. From July 2019 until March 2022, he was affiliated as a post-doctoral researcher at the Arid Land Research Center (ALRC), Tottori University. In October 2022, He joined the Internation Platform for Dryland Research and Education (IPDRE), Tottori University, Japan as a full-time researcher. Now, he works as a postdoctoral research fellow for the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture - ICBA, Dubai, UAE.
